The most important thing is to keep the stress to a minimum. You should also see your Doctor and see what is suggested you do.

well i think you should go to the doctor so they can keep eyes on you and ur unborn baby are okay until u having a panic attack.

Your OB can recommend a therapist. Pregnancy can cause a lot of anxiety, and I had to see a therapist to help me deal with it. If you’re worried that you won’t be able to get to the hospital, then just relax because you can always call 911. Once you’re there, the nurses can help you calm down if you experience a panic attack. Just tell them when you get there that you get them often and they’ll help you.

These last few weeks will FLY by. Focus on cleaning your home and getting baby’s things ready. Then try to relax and remind yourself that soon you won’t be able to sit down and watch TV whenever you want, or even sleep for that matter.

It depends on what is going on right before a panic attack! You can help prevent the attacks once you have an idea of what’s causing them. Are you panicking over the delivery?

I JUST HAD ONE ON MARCH 17 2007 AND I AM ONLEY 17 IT CAN BE HARD BUT JUST THINK ATTHE END YOULL HAVE A BABY AND HE OR SHE WILL BE ALL YOURS AND YOU THINK ITS HARD NOW JUST THINK YOULL HAVE A LIL LIFE THAT YOU HAVE TO TACK CEAR OF SO DONT GET DOWN IT WILL ALL BE OK AND YOULL BE THE BEST MOM TO YOUR BABY SO BE HAPPY THERE IS NO LOVE LIKE THE WAY A MOM LOVES A BABY.

In addition to talking to your doctor…which I too strongly suggest. (Often if you trust your doctor just their words of assurance can help.)

Try guided meditation. I bought a book that came with a CD…I believe it is simply called Meditation for Pregnancy…or Guided Meditation for Pregnancy. Whenever I start feeling anxious I go lay down and focus on the meditative instructions. It helps sooo much. Plus I use it to help get me to sleep at night.

Another suggestion is a book called, “Pregnant Feelings: Developing Trust in Birth,” by Rahima Baldwin & Terra Palmarini Richardson. I don’t think they are still in publication but I got one on Amazon… It is a workbook that will help you sort through all the emotions that you have to deal with during pregnancy.

Well, what you can do about your next panic attack to ease yourself very quickly is to tell yourself in a almost uncaring tone, “Oh no, not another panic attack.” Then, just say to yourself, “Oh well. It’s no big deal. It’s just nerves acting up again.” I’m sure once you do this, it will go away before you even know it. You can also say to yourself “Mothers right now are having babies in the world, what am I worried about,” and see if this eases up the tension you’re feeling.

To ease your suspense at the end of your pregnancy, just tell yourself on the day you go into labor that you’re just meeting up with a friend that you’ve never met before and that you’re going to be showing him/her around the place and introducing them to your family and friends or just friends, so that he/she gets to know everything and everybody better.

tell the doctor about this, he may be able to give you medicine . why are you having these attacks? is it common for you or is it due to the pregnancy?
